A typical new home takes 10 to 14 months from groundworks to handover. Initial site clearance and foundations normally take 4-6 weeks, the structure and weather-tight shell 8-12 weeks, fit-out trades 12-16 weeks, then 4-6 weeks of finishing and snag resolution tailored to your specification.
We require a 10 % deposit on contract signing. Subsequent payments align with build milestones: foundations complete, roof lock-up, first-fix trades, second-fix trades and practical completion
Minor alterations, such as moving internal partitions or upgrading finishes can usually be accommodated during early build phases. Major changes after structural completion may incur additional costs and extend the programme.
Every new home carries a 10-year NHBC Buildmark warranty covering structural defects, plus our own 2-year SB Construction workmanship guarantee for all in-house trades and installations
Yes. We encourage regular site visits so you can see progress. Visits are arranged through your project manager, who will provide safety guidance and ensure no disruption to the build.
